I began developing a new exhibit design as a way to replace an exhibit that had been in place for several years at the Heritage Center. The idea behind doing an exhibit based on canals was that there had not been a temporary exhibit that celebrated a specific canal topic. 

 

"Commemorating Canals" allows the public to view a variety of artifacts from individuals and businesses that remember a time when canals were the main way to transport goods and people.
